Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF: Kids Helping Kids "fun"draising

Giving Back can be a powerful learning experience. Trick-or-treat for UNICEF is an annual Halloween tradition that empowers children to make a difference. This is a special and fun opportunity for kids to help their less fortunate peers and to gain a better understanding of the world around them. As they learn how others their age struggle for basic human needs- safe drinking water, enough nutritious food to eat, medicines- children gain a transformative understanding of what it means to be a global citizen. UNICEF helps children around the world by:

a. Building wells so that children can have clean water.
b. Providing lifesaving immunizations to children in the developing world.
c. helping build schools, train teachers, and provide school supplies to children all over the globe.

Hundreds of millions of American kids help raise funds by toting their orange Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes door-to-door and spreading the word of UNICEF's mission.

This year our third, fourth, and fifth graders raised $556.16, enough for a water pump for a village or school AND protein biscuits for 50 starving children. JOB WELL DONE!!!
